Latin America is full of possibilities.
The free trade agreements signed between a number of countries in Lam can facilitate the export from one area to another as long as the certificates of origins are up to speed.
Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Mexico are the no-brainer targets. Brazil looks to be the most enticing market but, unlike other countries in LA, it is more difficult to segment customers and so target them.
So why is this information relevant to you and how can you leverage it?
* If you retail goods direct to the public, consider using a distributor or a US/ Mexico based retailer
* If your goods can be incorporated into a bigger product, certificate of origins will be less of a problem and you can piggy back your sales on the back of existing relationships.
